Verso Skincare is a Swedish brand for active-ingredient-focused skincare, founded in Stockholm in 2013. It was founded by Lars Fredriksson, who deliberately keeps the range minimalist and relies on a few well-tolerated ingredients. At its heart is the brand's own active ingredient, Retinol 8.
Philosophy: fewer, but effective ingredients
According to the brand, Verso does without unnecessary ingredients as well as mineral oils and parabens. A defining feature is the active ingredient Retinol 8, based on retinyl retinoate, a vitamin A derivative. According to the brand, this formula is eight times more effective and at the same time less irritating than conventional retinol; according to the brand, it was developed in collaboration with researchers in Stockholm. In skincare, retinol is used for smoothing and for a more even complexion.
Cleansing
