Verso Skincare – minimalist skincare from Stockholm

Verso Skincare is a Swedish brand for active-ingredient-focused skincare, founded in Stockholm in 2013. It was founded by Lars Fredriksson, who deliberately keeps the range minimalist and relies on a few well-tolerated ingredients. At its heart is the brand's own active ingredient, Retinol 8.

Philosophy: fewer, but effective ingredients

According to the brand, Verso does without unnecessary ingredients as well as mineral oils and parabens. A defining feature is the active ingredient Retinol 8, based on retinyl retinoate, a vitamin A derivative. According to the brand, this formula is eight times more effective and at the same time less irritating than conventional retinol; according to the brand, it was developed in collaboration with researchers in Stockholm. In skincare, retinol is used for smoothing and for a more even complexion.

Cleansing

Apply a small amount under the eye and make sure the serum does not get too close to the eye. Start at the inner corner of the eye and gently spread it towards the temple. When trying the product for the first time, we recommend that individuals with sensitive skin use the serum initially 2-3 times a week. A slight tingling sensation on the skin may occur during application. Apply the serum as part of your evening routine to the face and neck. Combine with a moisturizer if needed, or use alone. For sensitive skin, we recommend gradually increasing the application. Start with 2-3 times a week.
