Verso Skincare – minimalist skincare from Stockholm
Verso Skincare is a Swedish brand for active-ingredient-focused skincare, founded in Stockholm in 2013. It was founded by Lars Fredriksson, who deliberately keeps the range minimalist and relies on a few well-tolerated ingredients. At its heart is the brand's own active ingredient, Retinol 8.
Philosophy: fewer, but effective ingredients
According to the brand, Verso does without unnecessary ingredients as well as mineral oils and parabens. A defining feature is the active ingredient Retinol 8, based on retinyl retinoate, a vitamin A derivative. According to the brand, this formula is eight times more effective and at the same time less irritating than conventional retinol; according to the brand, it was developed in collaboration with researchers in Stockholm. In skincare, retinol is used for smoothing and for a more even complexion.
Cleansing
For cleansing there is the VERSO SKINCARE Facial Cleanser Gesichtsreiniger, complemented by the VERSO SKINCARE Cleansing Balm for the first cleansing step.
Active-ingredient serums
At the heart of the routine are serums such as the VERSO SKINCARE Super Facial Serum 30ml with Retinol 8 and hyaluronic acid, the VERSO SKINCARE Super C Serum with vitamin C, and the VERSO SKINCARE Hydration Serum with hyaluronic acid. For the eye area, the VERSO SKINCARE Super Eye Serum 30ml is suitable.
Cream and day care
During the day, the VERSO SKINCARE Daily Glow Getönte Tagescreme is a good choice, and for the night the VERSO SKINCARE Eye Cream Extra Nourish. The VERSO SKINCARE Daily SPF50 offers high sun protection.
Masks and exfoliation
For intensive care, the VERSO SKINCARE Nourishing Mask is made for very dry skin, and for a gentle peel the VERSO SKINCARE Peel Mask.
