Sun protection is the most important step in any skincare routine – regardless of skin type or weather. UV radiation plays a major role in skin aging, pigmentation and long-term skin damage. Daily protection helps prevent these processes effectively.
Modern sunscreens provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays, are easy to apply and layer well with skincare or make-up. Especially for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin, mineral filters are often better tolerated.

Step 1: Cleansing
In the morning, your skin should be freed from excess sebum, sweat and leftover nighttime products. A gentle cleanser – such as a fragrance-free gel or cleansing milk – protects the skin barrier and prepares the skin for the next steps. Look for soothing ingredients such as panthenol, oat or chamomile.

How to use:
Massage gently onto face and eyes using circular motions, then rinse.
Step 2: Moisturizer
After cleansing, hydration is essential. Choose a day cream with ingredients such as glycerin, hyaluronic acid or ceramides to soften the skin and strengthen its natural barrier. It should absorb quickly, not feel greasy and layer well under sunscreen.

As the final step, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen – ideally SPF 50. Ensure UVA and UVB protection, especially when spending time outdoors. Gel textures suit oily skin, cream textures suit dry skin. Apply generously to face, neck, ears and décolleté if needed.
