Step 1: Facial cleansing – micellar cleanser
The first and perhaps most important step in sustainable skincare is regular facial cleansing, which should be done every morning and evening using a cleanser suited to your skin type. In the evening, cleansing removes makeup, environmental dirt, excess sebum, and all impurities from the skin’s surface and helps prevent blackheads and inflammation. In the morning it is also important, because the skin regenerated overnight and releases sweat and sebum.

How to use
Massage onto face and eyes using gentle circular motions, then rinse off.
Step 2: Exfoliation
An exfoliant removes dead skin cells from the surface that can make the complexion look dull. Fresh, clean skin can absorb subsequent skincare products better and retains its natural glow. Exfoliation also stimulates the formation of new skin cells, which slows down with age. That is why it is an ideal anti-aging treatment in the fight against skin aging. Step 4: Toner – facial toner

Sprays are usually more economical because they do not stay in the cotton pad and they can also contain ingredients that work like serums.

Step 5: Serum – vitamin C serum

Step 6: Cream – facial cream
The final step of your daily skincare routine is a protective and nourishing cream, also called a moisturizer.
It is formulated depending on your skin type: for oily skin, completely without fats and with lots of hydration, or for dry skin, in addition to hydration also very rich with nourishing and caring lipids. It forms a protective film on the skin’s surface and is available as 24-hour creams for day and night or as two separate products, day cream and night cream. Day cream is usually lighter and contains more hydration. Night cream is often richer because the skin’s regeneration mechanisms work at night and it absorbs more active ingredients then. Some brands prefer it the other way around and skip night cream. What fits best is something everyone should figure out for themselves.
Day creams can also be lightly tinted and/or enriched with built-in SPF. Sun protection should be used in both summer and winter, depending on sun exposure at least SPF 20 to SPF 50.
