The daily skincare routine begins with thorough yet gentle cleansing, followed by a hydrating treatment ideally adapted to your skin type. After a short absorption time, apply make-up in combination with the Jane Iredale Primer, followed by the Pressed or Loose Mineral Foundation. For a long-lasting, natural result, finish with the Hydration Spray to set the make-up and refresh the skin.
Step 1: Prepare
WHY? The ultra-hydrating Smooth Affair® Face Primer minimizes imperfections, smooths the skin and improves make-up longevity. It ensures that foundation can be applied evenly and lasts longer without smudging.
HOW? Massage a pea-sized amount of primer into face and neck with your fingers until absorbed.
RESULT: Even, hydrated and perfectly primed skin.
Description
Smooth Affair Brightening Face Primer by Jane Iredale features a transparent formula with anti-aging properties. It brightens and smooths the skin at the same time. Pores appear visually minimized and shine is controlled. Natural botanical extracts provide a pleasant, refreshing scent.
Suitable for dry skin. Apply a thin layer gently to the face with fingertips. Distribute until fully absorbed. Can be used with or without a water-based moisturizer.
Step 2: Perfect
WHY? Our Multitasker Pressed Powder conceals, protects and hydrates the skin with light, flattering coverage and a natural semi-matte finish that allows the skin to breathe. The dense, flat-topped Handi Brush distributes the Pressed Powder evenly across the skin.
HOW? Apply with the Handi Brush in downward strokes and blend well. Press the powder into the skin with the Flocked Sponge for enhanced coverage.
RESULT: A fresh, soft-focus complexion with semi-matte finish and mineral UVA/UVB protection.

The Jane Iredale Pressed Mineral Powder with SPF 20 is a practical 3-in-1 product – foundation, concealer and sun protection. It guarantees subtle, natural light to medium coverage and creates a smooth, even complexion with a soft-focus effect.
Antioxidants such as pine bark and pomegranate extract minimize UV damage. Algae extracts care for mature skin, soothe sensitive skin such as acne or rosacea-prone skin and prevent moisture loss.
Made from micronized minerals classified as highly water-resistant. This Pressed Powder Refill is labeled SPF 20 and UVA Medium. It contains antioxidants such as pine bark and pomegranate extract, a powerful antioxidant that minimizes UV damage.
It also contains algae extracts that care for mature skin, soothe sensitive skin, prevent moisture loss and help repair UV damage. For normal coverage, use the Handi Brush.
Filled in a refillable anodized aluminum compact that can easily be recycled.
The mineral powder is free from synthetic dyes and fragrances, parabens, talc, plasticizers or genetically modified ingredients. Oil-free and vegan. Application Instructions:
Apply to prepared skin with the appropriate Jane Iredale brush. For longer wear, set with Balance Hydration, Pommist Hydration, D2O Hydration or Calming Lavender Hydration Spray.
Step 3: Set
WHY? The Pommist Hydration Spray sets the minerals of the Pressed Powder for a long-lasting, even finish. Botanical extracts and antioxidants hydrate and protect without adding texture or coverage.
HOW? Spray generously from approximately 15 cm onto the center of the face, then forehead, sides of the face, chin and neck.
RESULT: A long-lasting, natural finish and hydrated skin.
